The City of Beaver Dam is proud to host many spectacular events throughout the year, ranging from The Strawberry Festival and Annual Christmas Celebration, to Treats on the Trail (Halloween) and live concerts by the likes of John Michael Montgomery. See below for more details!
The Strawberry Festival
The Strawberry Festival is held each year during Memorial Day weekend. The festival consists of several activities such as: beauty pageants, car show, tractor show, motorcycle show, 5k run, arts & crafts, vendors, hot dog eating contest, carnival rides, Native American cooking, gospel singing, quilt show, pet show, Veterans Program, parade and much more.
Downtown Christmas Celebration
Downtown Christmas Celebration is held each year by the Downtown Merchants. The Celebration is held in downtown Beaver Dam and offers a variety of entertainment which includes: the lighting of Beaver Dam’s Christmas tree, horse-drawn wagon rides, limo rides, cookie walk, gospel singing, the release and sale of the annual Beaver Dam Christmas Ornament, cash cube, giveaways and of course, Santa Claus, and much more. This event is fun for the entire family and most events are free of charge!
Treats on the Trail
Treats on the Trail is sponsored by the Beaver Dam Tourism Commission and held on Halloween from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm at the Beaver Dam City Park Ray Chapman Baseball Complex.
